  In Xorg, when changing display scale, window shadows have artifacts

Bug description:
  Under Xorg (Tested NVIDIA GPU and Intel Graphics) Changing display
  scale in gnome-control-center causes artifacts on the shadow.

  [Steps to reproduce]
  1. Enter GNOME Desktop in Xorg mode
  2. Open Settings and another window
  3. Change scale from from 1x to 2x and 2x back to 1x

  [Expected behavior]
  Window shadow should not have artifacts

  [Actual result]
  Window shadow have artifacts.
