Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. To
help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps:
1. Run these commands:
journalctl -b0 > journal.txt
journalctl -b-1 > prevjournal.txt
and attach the resulting text files here.
2. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run:
ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash
Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug.
3. If step 2 failed then look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where
ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine.
Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please
send the links to us.
Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are
unable to process them as file attachments. It would also be a security
risk for yourself.

Title:
On the systems settings app under the menu 'Ubuntu Desktop' there is
only 'Oops, something went wrong. Please report a bug in LaunchPad'.
SO that is what I am doing.
Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Release: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
ubuntu-settings version: 24.04.5
I expected to be able to make changes to my Ubuntu desktop.
I have a couple of issues with my upgrade to Ubuntu 24.04. I must say
it was, on the whole a seamless process.
However, on the login screen at startup the screen is tiny and I can
only just make out what is on the screen to login.
When the notifications dialogue pops up when using Ubuntu the dialogue
goes right across the upper portion of the screen and the title text
is a single line at the side with the notification text white on a
white background.
Searching it seemed that I could access changes for these in the
settings app under Ubuntu Desktop. Unfortunately this is inaccessible
and only shows an error message. 'Oops, something went wrong. Please
report a bug in LaunchPad'. SO that is what I am doing.
