I also have this bug on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. This is the second time it happens and I don't know what causes it. I also noticed that when I lock my computer, the Num Lock is behaving as expected (it types numbers when the LED is on), but once the computer is unlocked the LED is inverted again.
I use a Lenovo V15-IIL with the integrated keyboard to type.
