Recently, I think I have found the solution for this problem. I removed
all files under ~/.cache/ibus/ and rebooted the system. In the past over
two weeks, the problem never occurred.

Title:
keyboard input not working with any input window widget

Status in ibus-libpinyin package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
The problem happens randomly and every time it keeps for one or two
  minutes.

During that period, keyboard input gets stuck in any window text input
widgets, for example, typing letters, enter key, backspace, and moving
input cursor with arrow keys. But with other window widget, for
example, a video player in browser, the keys can still work (arrow
keys for moving forward/backward, volume adjustment, space for
pause/play, F-key for full screen mode).

Before 22.04, I have never come across this problem (from 9.10 to
  20.04)
