Hi all,

Expected: make my nvidia GM107M working (Asus ROG laptop).
Result: nvidia.persistenced failed to initialize, whatever the driver version
(nouveau or nvidia), or kernel v.6.12/6.11.

Release: 24.10

$ ubuntu-drivers
nvidia-driver-560, (kernel modules provided by linux-modules-nvidia-560-generic)
nvidia-driver-535-server, (kernel modules provided by
linux-modules-nvidia-535-server-generic)

GPU: nvidia GM107M [GeForce GTX 950M]
Linux frog 6.11.0-14-generic #15-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Fri Jan 10 23:48:25
UTC 2025 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Did apt purges and manual installs from nvidia.
No working workaroud found on askuntu, ubuntu forums, and nvidia websites.
Needed to remove nouveau as well as nvidia drivers to avoid thousands lines of
nvidia.persistenced error in syslog and CPU loads.
Downgraded to kernel 6.11 with no more success.
