Title:
Failed to fetch gnome-mahjongg when upgrading from 15.10 to 16.04
Status in gnome-mahjongg package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
OS: Ubuntu 15.10
Package: gnome-mahjongg_3.18.0
I get the following error, when I tried to upgrade my desktop Ubuntu
from 15.10 to 16.04 and it stops the whole upgrade process:
Could not download the upgrades
The upgrade has aborted. Please check your Internet connection or
installation media and try again. All files downloaded so far have been kept.
Failed to fetch
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/g/gnome-mahjongg/gnome-mahjongg_3.18.0-1_amd64.deb
Size mismatch
I've tried this a few times (there was nothing wrong with my
connection), with no success.
I also tried (unsuccessfully):
* apt-get clean
* apt-get update
* apt-get autoclean
* apt-get autoremove
I un-installed this desktop game and retried the upgrade,
successfully. I would have preferred an error message with the
ability to ignore it, rather than pulling up the handbrake on an
upgrade.
