Rick, The drivers are the primary reason this isn't working for some people. Some touchpads are scaling inputs incorrectly, resulting in very low velocity pressures. This should not prevent it from working for these people, but it does make revealing take a bit more effort than intended. I have not seen a completely unworkable setup yet. The slider merely helps people who have misbehaving hardware deal with the faulty drivers.

Also, when you put your mouse on the central point slowly to go to monitor 2, you get stuck even if you believe that the mouse is already on the monitor 2 (because there is one pixel left on monitor 1 and the whole cursor is drawn on monitor 2) This is on a dell Latitute XT2, with default mouse velocity option.
