Title:
  failed login does not remember unity selection

Status in “unity-greeter” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 12.04 alpha 2 (in VirtualBox) with Lightdm version
  1.1.1-0ubuntu4

  
  STEP BY STEP:

  - Login with Unity, then Logout
  - Select Unity 2D and then try to login with a wrong password
  - You will get an error message
  - Enter the correct password and hit Enter

  - Current behaviour: You end up in Unity (because it forgot the Unity 2D 
selection)
  - Expected behaviour: it should log into Unity 2D, without requiring the user 
to reselect that option in case of a wrong password


  ANOTHER STEP BY STEP:

  - Login with Unity 2D, then Logout
  - Select Unity and then try to login with a wrong password
  - You will get an error message
  - Enter the correct password and hit Enter

  - Current behaviour: You end up in Unity 2D (because it forgot the Unity 
selection)
  - Expected behaviour: it should log into Unity, without requiring the user to 
reselect that option in case of a wrong password
