Hello, Nathan,

Right after the crash occurs, I get kicked out of Ubuntu. I fetched it
right after I logged back into Ubuntu.

I tried again.
1. I closed Chromium.
2. I issued the command "/snap/bin/chromium --enable-logging=stderr >
output1_new", this caused Chromium browser to start, and logging statements to
scroll in the terminal window
3. I went to youtube.com, and tried to open a video by right-
clicking and selecting a new tab --> the browser crashes and I get kicked out
of Ubuntu
4. by the time I log back in and check on output1.new in a terminal window, I
find that it has a size of 0 bytes

Are you saying you can't reproduce what I'm experiencing?

sincerely,
Yang

Title:
Chromium crashes when I open a youtube video as new tab

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
In youtube, I often scroll down the matrix of videos, open those I'm
interested in in new tabs, then after a while, view those new tabs one
  by one.

Since over a month ago, when opening youtube videos as new tabs,
Chromium browser crashes, and exits me out of Ubuntu to the point I
  need to log in again.

I am running Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS, codename jammy, and Chromium browser
version 141.0.7390.54 (although problem was already present before the
  most recent auto-update).
