Title:
nm-applet crashed with SIGSEGV in g_data_set_internal()

Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
The network manager (or possibly the network card) has acted weirdly
ever since the installation of Ubuntu (the only dissatisfaction with
the OS). It will disconnect automatically every now and then and
reconnect itself (or not) after a short moment. This time apparently
the interface crashed and the network indicator on the panel
  disappeared as well.
