Unread count in notification/icon not cleared

Bug description:
Using gwibber for facebook.
The counter showing unread messages (in notification menu and on launcher
icon) is not decremented when I raise gwibber, even if I click in the new
message
It is only decremented if I go to gwibber through notification menu,
or if I change the view inside gwibber
