Title:
empathy appears to continually sign in to google talk - never succeeds
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Sorry guys, this is probably a duplicate, since I have found a number of hits
for this kind of problem on google.com sites.
google talk works fine in various internet browsers I run, however it never
works in empathy.
If I knew where empathy kept its logs I would check them, but the UI
gives no feedback. It just keeps trying to log in to google chat and
never ever succeeds.
Thanks
