Title:
Atheros Wireless "device not managed" on 12.04

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Using Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10, with kernel 3.0.0-14, wireless card +
bluetooth 3.0 "Atheros Communications Inc. AR9485 Wireless Network
Adapter" works perfectly out of the box. However, on a fresh install
of Ubuntu 12.04 precise alpha 2, with kernel 3.2.0-15, wireless won't
work. On System Settings>Network>Wireless, it says "device not
managed". However, wireless icon appears, and I am able to turn on/off
  wireless from the Unity panel.
