Indicator Applet 0.4.6 doesn't allow to turn on bluetooth

Bug description:
I have ubuntu 10.10 for a laptop. When opening menu I can only choose
bluetooth off, which suggest that bluetooth is turned on, however it is not.
When going into preferences I am informed that bluetooth is disabled and have
an option to turn bluetooth on. However after clicking turn bluetooth on
nothing happens and my bluetooth is still off. Bluetooth is one of the most
important features for me - as this programme doesn't work I cann't use
bluetooth and having ubuntu my laptop become a bit useless! What's the point of
having ubuntu if I cannot use bluetooth????
I know that this problem existed in previous versions and am suprised that
it was not yet resolved.
  Thanks for you help.
  Paulina
