Title:
  The GNU Chess stops working once you use Ctrl+z. It goes on
  thinking...

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-games

  It shows illegal move twice in the log and stops working. Also the
  time of GNU chess counts down continuously. I guess when I use ctrl+z
  to take back the step it goes into some unknown stge
