Title:
Multimonitor setup breaks and reverts to mirror setup randomly and
while watching youtube videos
Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
About once a day at random times my dual screen multimonitor setup
suddenly goes black and then reverts back to mirror setup. Mostly it
occurs while watching flash videos in my browser but yesterday it
happened while no videos were playing and I just tried to click on the
messaging menu indicator applet.
This happens on Unity 3d and 2d
Using the nouveau driver, have not tried the prop nvidia drivers.
Don't really want to as I do not want to use nvidia's buggy
multimonitor setup tool. I would like to get the built in Ubuntu
display manager working right. Especially since new work is being done
to make it work really well in many different test cases
Thanks
