Firefox 10.0.1 Ubuntu 11.04 I think that this behavior is not new for this version of Firefox. Nor I think it is specific of this version of Ubuntu (or even to the linux variants of Firefox).
Unfortunately, the page that causes me problem isn't public. If a link like I described doesn't reproduce the problem, I can get more things from the page (like javascript source code, HTML code, etc...) so we can make a repeatable case. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933673 Title: Firefox opens new window instead of tab Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I have Edit -> Preferences -> Tabs -> "When sites request new window, open new tab" checked. But there is this link pointing to: javascript:openDefaultWindow('https://bla.url.com/','') wich opens on a new window no matter this option is checked or unchecked.
