Title:
Writer can't open attached .ott when Base not installed

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  - Create an .odt file
  - Upgrade to Precise Pangolin
  - The file can't be opened. The error message is:
    Read-Error.
    Error reading file.

This is a very unexpected bug. I've been storing a lot of .odt files
and none of them can be opened after the upgrade to Pangolin. A file
created with the new LibreOffice, and stored in those same
  directories, can be opened.
