Outside of a menu bar, some menus open completely downward, with all items below the menu button. For example, the Back and Forward menus in Epiphany. This is indicated by a downward arrow at the end of the menubutton. Other menus -- in GTK, the ComboBox and OptionMenu widgets -- open both upward and downward, with the current selected item over top of the menu button. For example, the Icon/List/Compact menu in Nautilus, or the font menu in Character Map. This is indicated by a pair of upward and downward arrows. Unfortunately, in Oneiric, both types have only a downward arrow. Apparently this is a bug in GTK3. ** Affects: gtk Importance: Medium Status: New ** Affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Andrea Cimitan (cimi) Status: Triaged -- Radio menu (ComboBox, OptionMenu) arrows point only downward, not upward https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/829425 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gtk+3.0 in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
