Public bug reported: In the Zotero forums (http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/21716/solved- zotero-crashes-firefox-10-on-linux/), several users of Ubuntu firefox report crashes when using the Zotero plugin for downloading bibliographical information. The problem appears, when clicking the Zotero icon in the address bar. The workaround recommended by the Zotero team is to use the official Mozilla build. According to reports of other users, this seems to work.
I can reproduce the crashes consistently. However, I am right now sweeped with work, so I can't help with debugging (like reinstalling with a clean profile, removing plugins, etc.). The best person to speak to might be Simon Kornblith ([email protected]), a Zotero developer who has done some work on the problem.
