Do you mean that pressing "esc" is supposed to cancel a drag in Nautilus
3.3.90-ubuntu2?

For me, it's quite straight-forward: I start a drag using the left mouse
click, then I press the "ESC" key (with le left mouse button still
pressed), and the drag doesn't stop.

Title:
No way to cancel a drag in Nautilus

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
In Nautilus, when you start dragging a file or folder, there is no way
to cancel it. It seems that, some time ago, the ESC key could be used
