I am running a fresh install of precise (alpha plus updates). The bug is
no longer present

Steps to reproduce:
Click on the message icon (in status bar), then setup broadcast, click an new
accont for twitter in the gwibber dialogue, choose authorize and enter your
details. After the authorization, the gwibber status line says "refreshing" and
my status updates appear.
This did not happen before, instead i had to close and restart gwibber. So it
seems fixed.

Title:
Gwibber views "Home" and "Messages" stay empty after connecting to
  twitter

Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
In a fairly fresh install of Ubuntu Precise (Alpha) it just connected
Gwibber to my twitter account. That seems to work but the Gwibber
views "Home" and "Messages" stay empty even after changing tabs
several times. Interestingly, Replies appear in Gwibber.

I expected that Gwibber view get populated with data fram twitter
almost immediatly. If that takes some time, a kind of loading
  indicator should be displayed.
