When I close the notebook, it automatically activates the setting to show the same content on both screens and the screen resolution on the external screen changes to the max. of my notebook. I set it back and than the same happens when I open the notebook again. So my external screen is always influenced when i open or close the notebook. Did I express it well enough? @dank: no it's not.
