> PS: It is aware of files on non-home partitions, just not root. I know it, because I've got an aditional partition /media/iTunes/
You're right, we have to differentiate a bit more: It does not work on root (according to Bachsau) and if the partition is mounted on a first level directory (e.g /srv or /mnt). It does work if it's mounted on any second level directory or higher (e.g. /media/test or /srv/test). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/676917 Title: Trash is not aware of files deleted from non-home partitions Status in “gvfs” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: gvfs When /home is on a separate partition, and the user deletes a file on root, it is moved to /.Trash-1000, but it does not show up in trash, nor is it going to be deleted when the trash emptied.
