gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke()

Bug description:
After logging-in using Cinnamon and then Gnome Classic, I logged in
with Ubuntu (Unity). I got the launcher and the panel, and then
another panel on the bottom (looks like Gnome Classic), so evidently
it logged in with a mixtue of Unity and the Gnome Classic bottom
panel.
