I think it is related to teletext, as audio and video play ok after cancelling. I use vdr with vdr-live plugin, and this is quite annoying, I need to press Cancel button everytime I open a TV channel, as video stops playing (you get a paused frame) until you Cancel or try to download the plugin with package manager unsuccessfully.
