What do you mean by dark? Please attach a screenshot that illustrates
the problem.
Furthermore, there appears to be missing information from apport about
this bug; please use 'apport-collect 948686' to attach extra information
to this bug report.

Bug description:
Since upgrading to the 12.04 beta, the wifi indicator on my top right
panel remains dark despite being connected to my home network. My
home network uses WPA2 encryption, in case that matters.
