Title: magnification settings do not work on Ubuntu Status in GNOME Control Center: Unknown Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: gnome-control-center universal access panel has a switch for a screen magnifier and a further dialog with a heap of settings presumably for gnome-mag which is not installed in Ubuntu by default. Having installed the gnome-mag package these settings still do nothing. The settings should be hidden altogether unless they can be demonstrated to work. Ideally this should be the place to set up keyboard and mouse bindings for the compiz enhanced zoom plugin. I like to use super+mouse button 4 to zoom in and super+button 5 to zoom out, these are the mousewheel buttons.
