This same bug appears on my Nvidia FX5600 256mb AGP using the 173 driver after upgrading to Natty 11.04. This driver worked great in my customized Maverick 10.10. It ran compiz great. Now there is no 3d accel. Runs 2d gnome with no effects. It say's the recommended 173 driver is installed but not in use. Anyone have a solution for this yet? Will upgrading further to 11.10 fix it?
