Title:
Unlock dialog no longer pays attention to keypresses before it appears

Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in “gnome-screensaver” source package in Dapper:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Prior to the recent updates, I could sit down at any of my locked dapper
machines, type my password and hit enter and even if the unlock dialog hadn't
appeared immediately (which almost always happens), it still got the events and
unlocked the screen.
Now it seems to discard any input received before the dialog appears, so I
have to press something else (keyboard/mouse) and then type my password.
The previous behaviour was far more convenient imo.
