Title:
  Read-Only FAT files cannot be made writeable

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

  When a File on a FAT filesystem is read-only, it's is read only for
  owner, group and others in linux. But when I try to use nautilus to
  change it, it does not work, so I have to go to the terminal, which is
  getting on my nerves. By the way, I'm using the detailed permission
  view of nautilus.

  The filesystems are mountet with
  shortname=mixed,codepage=850,utf8,uid=1000,gid=0,umask=0111,dmask=0000

  Fix please.
