** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/930392 Title: Undoing 'expand folder' is possible only after moving mouse. Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In Nautilus list view: Scenario 1: Left click the little solid arrow to expand a folder. The folder is expanded. Left click the little solid arrow again. The folder is highlighted, if it wasn't already. I would expect it to close (unexpand) however. Scenario 2: Left click the little solid arrow to expand a folder. The folder is expanded. Move the mouse away from the little solid arrow and back onto it again. Left click the little solid arrow. The folder is closed ('unexpanded') as expected. The behaviour described in scenario 1 is unexpected and confusing. Repeatedly clicking the little solid arrow should alternately expand and close the concerned folder. The only way to achieve the intended action is to move the mouse back and forth before clicking the little solid arrow again. I would love to see this ergonomic nuisance solved. It has been there in all releases as far as I can remember. Thanks for the otherwise superb application!
