Title:
List view in nautilus: "+" symbols in front of folders can not be
  hidden

Status in Nautilus:
  Won't Fix
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

  Ubuntu version: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
  Package version (nautilus): 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu4

The [+] symbols in front of the folders in the list view of Nautilus
are not hideable - and it seems that there is no option (even in
  gconf) to hide them.

What should happen instead: Provide a gconf switch to hide them. Even
better: Provide a new option in the preferences. ;-)
