Title:
  can not change wireless networks

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
hi, i am melq and i would like to report a bug in my ubuntu 11.10 ...i
do not know what policy package i am using because it is telling it
  can not retrieve the name

  melquize@melquize-F6A-Invalid-entry-length-3-DMI-table-is-broken-Stop:~$
apt-cache policy pkgname
N: Unable to locate package pkgname

anyways, here is my problem, i have several wireless network available
around me and i usually use one let us name it WNET A to update
ubuntu as it is the fastest and then there is another wireless network
that i used let us call it WNET B and i use that to download other
stuff as it is slow but unlimited data... my problem is that i can not
now move from WNET A to WNET B, ubuntu just wont connect to the other
wireless network, it just keeps on sticking to WNET A. I have tried
other non ubuntu laptops to connect to WNET A and also to WNET B and
they can do it without any hiccups...

  help urgently requested please...

  Cheers!
  Melq
  :-)
