You have been subscribed to a public bug: I cannot access the internet in any way until I reconnect with my access point, after reconnection I only have about 40 seconds to download/upload stuff or the speed will drop to 800 bytes a second. the pc reports i'm still connected, but I cannot load any page or download anything. this is only the case with THIS computer (linksys WMP600N dual-band PCI network card) it didn't happen before the 12.04 upgrade and it DOES happen with a different wireless adaptor, although my laptop (also ubuntu 12.04) doesn't have this issue.
