This is actually a problem with evolution only checking with Network
Manager to check network status, it should check if the network is
actually online or not and not just check with Network Manager.

  Binary package hint: evolution-common

  Evolution 2.26.1 was working until today, now the send/receive button
  is gray and emails will not upload/download to POP mail server.
  Ubuntu/system/administration/update manager informs me my system is up
  to date.
