Title: metacity should report union of workspaces in _NET_WORKAREA instead of just one Status in Unity 2D: Fix Committed Status in “metacity” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Reporting of _NET_WORKAREA -------------------------- - Metacity reports just one (the first) of the multiple regions available - Compiz returns the bounding rect of the multiple regions available (that might contain a strut). Both are wrong (as you can't express multiple available regions in _NET_WORKAREA) but i find the unity way "less wrong" since the metacity way negates any available space on some of the monitors completely.
