I think that not working games, expecially if paid, need to be removed from
software center.

Title:
Midnight Mysteries game aborts startup with "Failed to create OpenGL
texture"
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
The paid game Midnight Mysteries: Devil on the Mississippi CE as
provided by the package mm3 (I tried filing this bug against it but
that results in the error: "mm3" does not exist in Ubuntu. Please
choose a different package... but when choosing a different package, I
see mm3 listed again but that results in the same error) in Ubuntu
Software Center, does not start.
When calling it from command line, this error is printed:
$ /opt/MM3/MM3
Lua script executedPanic error in file
"/home/ubuntu/Shared/HotSource_v5/HotEngine/Common/OpenGL/OpenGLTexture.cpp",
line 687:
Failed to create OpenGL texture (error code: 0x500, size: 500x256 ->
512x256, format: 7)
Aborted
I'm getting the same error on two different machines both running
Ubuntu 11.10 64bit but with different hardware. One with Nvidia
graphics using the open nouveau driver, one with Intel graphics and
the i915 driver. It does not matter if I log in with Gnome Shell or
Unity.
I tried "$ ubuntu-bug mm3" but that results in a message that no info
can be collected since it's not a native Ubuntu package. Please tell
me how, if more info is needed.
