^ looks the same, but my desktop directory is "~/Desktop". According to "about" nautilus itself is 3.2.1 - see the first post. nautilus --version shows "GNOME nautilus 3.2.1". Synaptic shows the package version as "1:3.2.1-0ubuntu4.2".
