Dash: Lenses are slower in selcting an icon in dash

Bug description:
Open dash
Select a lens . For Eg: application lens
Try to hover over the icons
Expected result: Icon should be selected as soon as the cursor moves
over them
Actual Result: There is a lag in selection of icons. I.e Icons get selected
few milliseconds after the cursor is positioned on icon.
This is best appreciated when we try to hover over from one icon to another
rapidly.
