Title:
Hud makes Alt+tab switching difficult
Status in Unity 2D:
Fix Released
Status in “unity-2d” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
With the new HUD feature in Unity, ALT+TAB and ALT+<num> key switching
is badly affected. If the ALT+<whatever> key combination is used
quickly, HUD pops up over the top of the new window and grabs focus.
This is an annoying UI regression for me, as I like to have a number
of application windows open, each containing a number of tabs and I
switch frequently between them
== To reproduce ==
* Open two terminal windows
* ALT+TAB (quickly) to switch between them.
* Start typing something
== Expected result ==
(reproduced with any version before HUD was introduced)
* Second terminal window is displayed
* Focus switches to second terminal window
* Text is entered in second terminal window
== Actual result ==
* Second terminal window is displayed
* HUD appears
* Focus switches to HUD
* Text is entered in HUD
