If the ALT+<whatever> key combination is used quickly, HUD pops up over the top of the new window and grabs focus. This is an annoying UI regression for me, as I like to have a number of application windows open, each containing a number of tabs and I switch frequently between them == To reproduce == * Open two terminal windows * ALT+TAB (quickly) to switch between them. * Start typing something == Expected result == (reproduced with any version before HUD was introduced) * Second terminal window is displayed * Focus switches to second terminal window * Text is entered in second terminal window == Actual result == * Second terminal window is displayed * HUD appears * Focus switches to HUD * Text is entered in HUD ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: unity 5.6.0-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-18.29-generic 3.2.9 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-18-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 1.94.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 CompizPlugins: No value set for `/apps/compiz-1/general/screen0/options/active_plugins' Date: Mon Mar 19 12:30:23 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Beta amd64 (20110901) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB:en TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: unity UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-02-13 (34 days ago) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-2d/+bug/959245/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
