both hotot and eog have the same behavior in gnome-shell so that is not
a Unity/Compiz bug

Hello,
In Ubuntu Precise beta, I have some programs that I run maximized, but
for which the maximized state is not remembered when i quit and re-
launch them, in the same session or after restart.
For example : Gwibber, Hotot, Gnote (main window or individual notes),
Updates manager, Eye of Gnome, PDF Mod
When I start them, even if I had maximized them before, they do not
launch maximized on the screen...
