This just happened to me in 12.04 Precise. I accidently click on move
to trash in Rhythmbox so I right clicked on the trash can on the Unity
sidebar and it gave me this exact error.

On a side note I never emptied the trash but when I went into Nautilus
immediatly after I right clicked on the file and then clicked on restore
it said the file did not exist. I assume that has something to do with
a cache write being out of sync because not more than 1 min later the
file was able to be restored properly
