Cannot login to twitter

Bug description:
Using Gwibber 2.0.0 on Ubuntu 9.10
1. Invoked Gwibber.
2. Created a new twitter account (using the short username and password)
called lramesh.
3. On the left side panel, choose lramesh and nothing happens. I mean, there
were some errors made like no autherization on the previous attempts, but they
no longer appear, I don't have an option to autherize and I don't see any error
too.
How do I authorize Gwibber to access twitter?
In the related bugs, I saw 2.3.0 version. Where can I get it from?
