Yes, import queue is still full with translations from po-python: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/precise/+source/gimp/+imports As for the patch validity, I guess it is, based on the bzr branch: https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/precise/gimp/precise looks like it didn't changed since a while.

In the po-python/ directory the po-python.pot template file is missing. Therefore, corresponding .po files cannot be imported into Rosetta and won't appear in the language-packs. If the translations are not used anyways, please consider to remove the po-python/ directory. If the translations should be used, please fix the build script to actually build the .pot file.
