  gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in g_signal_emit_valist()

Bug description:
  Just installed 12.04 daily build. On first boot I installed all
  updates as of 2012-03-24 and then I installed "gnome-panel" to get
  classic mode and rebooted. gnome-panel hit this SEGV out of the blue
  when I was browsing the web using Firefox.
