  gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in g_signal_emit_valist()

Bug description:
  I had booted with the lower panel of gnome-panel placed in the left
  margin, and it was interfering every time I logged in with something
  else (awn-navigator? or whatever).

  As a consequence, I lost the upper panel, and the lower (left)
  panels., and had to reboot each time
