Thomas, thanks for this bug report, and sorry we didn't get to it until
now.

Ubuntu Software Center has changed a lot since you reported this. Do you still 
experience the problem with USC 5.0 or later? If so, please tell us:
1. An example of a program that does install okay.
2. An example of a program that doesn't install.
3. What happens when you run "software-center" at a terminal, and then try to 
install a program that doesn't install. Do you get an error message? Is 
anything printed at the terminal? If so, copy and paste it here. Thanks.
