Then it's clearly not a Unity bug. Try checking your autorun settings in
the System Info thing in System Settings. Also, check if you have any
other file manager installed that's fiddling around with this.

Steps to reproduce:
- plugin a USB stick (or audio CD)
Expected Result:
- a launched icon for the USB stick (audio CD) appears

- nautilus window is opened but no launcher icon
