  update-software-center crashed with ImportError in _get_distro(): No

Bug description:
  Running EasyPeasy 2.0 ALPHA
  and got several crashes, kernel, this, and something on trying to install, so
  ALPHA doesn't mean BETA, and isn't ready for prime time,
  but reporting anyway, to see if anyone else has, or will have
  these problems...
